Als Product Engineer in Roermond vertaal je klantvragen naar slimme, maakbare en kostenefficiënte oplossingen. Voor onze opdrachtgever werk je aan het ontwerpen, optimaliseren en ontwikkelen van innovatieve aluminium profielen. Je combineert techniek, berekeningen en creativiteit om producten van idee tot serieproductie te brengen. Elke oplossing die je ontwikkelt heeft directe impact op kwaliteit, maakbaarheid en kosten. Wat ga je doen? Voor onze opdrachtgever ben je verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling en introductie van nieuwe aluminium producten. Je vertaalt klantvragen naar maakbare en kostenefficiënte technische oplossingen en beoordeelt en optimaliseert profielontwerpen op functionaliteit, maakbaarheid en kosten. Daarnaast werk je technische berekeningen uit, zoals sterkte- en tolerantieberekeningen, om ontwerpen te onderbouwen. Je ondersteunt het presales proces met kostprijsanalyses en technische beoordelingen van nieuwe productideeën. Ook begeleid je producten van de ontwikkelfase tot en met de eerste serielevering. Je werkt met CAD-software (2D en 3D) om technische tekeningen en productmodellen uit te werken en te optimaliseren. Je hebt regelmatig contact met klanten om technische mogelijkheden te bespreken en passende oplossingen te adviseren. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met productie om ontwerpen af te stemmen op de maakbaarheid en efficiëntie in het proces. Je analyseert product- en procesdata en gebruikt deze inzichten voor continue optimalisatie van engineering en productprestaties.
