Wil jij een sleutelrol spelen in de migratie naar een nieuw, toekomstbestendig PLC-platform? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou! De functie Als System Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp, de overdracht van bestaande functionaliteit van het bestaande platform en integratie het nieuwe PLC-systeem in het automatiseringslandschap van Van Oord. Je werkt hierin nauw samen met nog 10 collega's uit het team om de juiste software structuur neer te zetten. Belangrijke elementen zijn hierbij een uniforme en intuïtieve opzet, standaardisatie, flexibiliteit, beheersbaarheid. Je hebt de vrijheid om verschillende mogelijkheden en oplossingen te onderzoeken en te toetsen binnen de afdeling. Daarnaast werk je samen met de (OT) software afdeling om ervoor te zorgen dat het nieuwe platform ingepast kan worden. Je ontwikkelt tooling om het platform heen en beschrijft de standaards en werkwijze binnen het platform in documentatie voor de rest van de afdeling.
