Als programmeur bij SSL werk je in een enthousiast team aan een gevarieerde verzameling van projecten. In ons IT-team proberen we onze kantoorcollega's en docenten te helpen het beste uit zichzelf en onze leerlingen te halen door hun administratieve taken zoveel mogelijk weg te nemen. Hiervoor gebruiken we bij SSL speciaal ontwikkelde software zoals een administratiesysteem voor docenten en leerlingen, een mailprogramma en webapplicaties voor de verschillende doelgroepen (een pagina met statistieken voor de cursuscoördinatie, persoonlijke pagina's voor docenten en een informatie- en aanmeldsysteem voor leerlingen). Jouw taak is het onderhouden en verbeteren van deze software. We werken o.a. in de programmeertalen C#, PHP 8 (Laravel), JavaScript/TypeScript (Vue.js) en Go. Daarnaast maken we gebruik van Docker om onze applicaties te bundelen, van GitLab CI om de kwaliteit van onze code te bewaken, en van Kubernetes om onze test- en productieomgeving in te richten. Je werkt samen met andere (voornamelijk parttime) programmeurs en kantoorcollega's in een informele sfeer waarbij waarde wordt gehecht aan feedback geven en van elkaar leren. Je hebt een HBO/WO werk/denkniveau met minimaal een jaar werkervaring of hobbymatig meerdere jaren ervaring. Verder beschik je over relevante kennis van git, databases en verschillende programmeertalen. Je hoeft de talen waarmee wij werken niet allemaal te beheersen, maar je kunt jezelf wel snel nieuwe talen eigen maken. Daarnaast vind je het leuk om kritisch mee te denken over het verbeteren van software, kan je goed samenwerken en technische kwesties toelichten aan collega's zonder programmeerkennis die met de software moeten werken.
