Binnen Team Realisatie, Beheer en Leefomgeving werken ongeveer 80 professionals dagelijks aan de ontwikkeling, inrichting en het beheer van de openbare ruimte. Beheer, ontwerp, vastgoed en projectleiding werken nauw samen binnen één afdeling, waardoor de lijnen kort zijn en collega's elkaar gemakkelijk weten te vinden. Deze samenwerking zorgt ervoor dat projecten snel kunnen worden opgepakt en besluitvorming efficiënt verloopt. De manier waarop we samenwerken is verankerd in onze organisatiewaarden LEER: Lef, Eerlijk, Elkaar en Respect. Deze waarden, met een knipoog naar het rijke verleden van Waalwijk, vormen de basis van ons dagelijks handelen en versterken de samenwerking binnen teams en met onze inwoners, ondernemers en partners. Over de functie Als Projectleider Civiele Techniek ben je verantwoordelijk voor uiteenlopende civieltechnische projecten binnen de openbare ruimte. Van reconstructies van wegen en woonwijken tot complexe gebiedsontwikkelingen: binnen deze rol werk je aan projecten die zichtbaar bijdragen aan de leefomgeving van de gemeente. Actuele projecten zijn onder andere de Gebiedsontwikkeling Oostelijke Langstraat (GOL) en de herontwikkeling van winkelcentrum De Els en de binnenstad van Waalwijk.
