Op onze beschermde afdeling ben jij een belangrijke vertrouwenspersoon voor onze bewoners. Je combineert je verpleegkundige kennis met een warme, rustige aanpak en weet dat goede zorg soms begint met gewoon er zijn, luisteren en kijken wat iemand nodig heeft.

Je krijgt de ruimte om écht contact te maken met bewoners en hen te begeleiden op een manier die aansluit bij hun persoonlijkheid, mogelijkheden en levensverhaal. Soms betekent dat structuur bieden en duidelijkheid creëren, soms net even tijd nemen voor een gesprek of een bewoner helpen om opnieuw rust te vinden.

Samen met je collega's zorg je voor een veilige en aangename leefomgeving. Je observeert wat er verandert, bespreekt je bevindingen met het team en denkt actief mee over de beste aanpak. Dankzij jouw psychiatrische expertise help je niet alleen onze bewoners, maar versterk je ook de kennis en aanpak binnen het hele team.

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • verpleegkundige zorg verleent met aandacht voor zowel het lichamelijke als psychische welzijn van onze bewoners;
  • bewoners begeleidt bij hun dagelijkse leven en inspeelt op hun individuele noden;
  • gedrag en veranderingen in het welzijn van bewoners observeert en hier gepast op reageert;
  • rust en structuur brengt, ook wanneer situaties wat uitdagender worden;
  • een vertrouwensband opbouwt en zorgt voor een gevoel van veiligheid en geborgenheid;
  • nauw samenwerkt met collega's, artsen en andere disciplines;
  • actief deelneemt aan overleg en meedenkt over individuele zorg- en begeleidingsplannen;
  • jouw psychiatrische kennis en ervaring deelt met collega's en hen ondersteunt in hun dagelijkse begeleiding.

Kortom: geen zorg op automatische piloot, maar een job waarin jouw deskundigheid, persoonlijkheid en oprechte aandacht elke dag van betekenis zijn.

We zoeken vooral iemand die met aandacht en begrip naar mensen kijkt. Je hoeft niet voor elke situatie meteen een antwoord te hebben, maar je weet wel hoe belangrijk het is om rustig te blijven, goed te luisteren en samen met je collega's naar oplossingen te zoeken.

Daarnaast:

  • beschik je over een diploma verpleegkunde en heb je een bijzondere interesse of ervaring binnen de psychiatrische zorg;
  • ben je geduldig, empathisch en communicatief sterk;
  • kan je goed omgaan met uiteenlopende gedragingen en emoties;
  • blijf je rustig en professioneel in uitdagende situaties;
  • heb je oog voor kleine veranderingen en weet je deze correct te signaleren;
  • werk je graag samen en durf je jouw expertise te delen;
  • neem je initiatief en denk je actief mee over de kwaliteit van onze zorg;
  • heb je respect voor de eigenheid en levensgeschiedenis van iedere bewoner.
