Vacature: R&D Engineer - Innovatieve Productontwikkeling met Impact

Ben jij een creatieve probleemoplosser met een passie voor innovatie? Wil je werken aan producten die écht een verschil maken in het dagelijks leven van mensen? Wij zijn op zoek naar een R&D Engineer om onze tilliften en aanverwante producten verder te ontwikkelen en te optimaliseren.

Wat ga je doen?

Als R&D Engineer werk je aan de verbetering van bestaande producten en geef je vorm aan de toekomst van onze innovatieve oplossingen. Je vertaalt technische uitdagingen naar slimme, praktische en duurzame oplossingen. Jouw takenpakket is gevarieerd en uitdagend:

  • Productontwikkeling en optimalisatie: Je analyseert bestaande producten kritisch en werkt verbeteringen uit op het gebied van functionaliteit, kwaliteit, gebruiksgemak en maakbaarheid.
  • Veldonderzoek: Je bezoekt klanten en eindgebruikers om in de praktijk te observeren hoe onze producten worden gebruikt en hoe we ze verder kunnen verbeteren.
  • Conceptontwikkeling: Je bedenkt mechanische oplossingen en ontwikkelt technische concepten, samen met collega’s en externe engineeringpartners.
  • Samenwerking: Je werkt nauw samen met productie, kwaliteit, aankoop en externe experts om je ideeën praktisch en efficiënt te implementeren.
  • Leveranciers en componenten: Je denkt mee over technische componenten en leverancierskeuzes, en selecteert oplossingen die perfect aansluiten bij onze producten.
  • Technische documentatie: Je zorgt voor nauwkeurige technische verslaggeving en documentatie van al je ontwikkelingen.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent een gedreven engineer met een passie voor productontwikkeling en een sterk praktisch inzicht. Daarnaast breng je het volgende mee:

  • Een masterdiploma (industrieel ingenieur, (elektro)mechanica, …).
  • Minstens 5 tot 10 jaar ervaring binnen productontwikkeling, machinebouw of mechanical engineering.
  • Een sterk conceptueel inzicht in mechanica, gecombineerd met een pragmatische aanpak.
  • Basiskennis van elektronica, zodat je elektrische schema’s begrijpt en technische logica kunt volgen.
  • Ervaring met SolidWorks (een sterke plus!).
  • Een teamgerichte werkstijl: je werkt graag samen met verschillende afdelingen en voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar overleg en teamwork centraal staan.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Nederlands en een zeer goede kennis van het Engels.
  • Zelfstandigheid, initiatief en een passie voor werken binnen een familiale KMO-omgeving.
  • Je woont in de regio en kan je gemakkelijk verplaatsen naar ons bedrijf in Ninove.
