Als rangeerder maak je deel uit van een betrokken en professioneel team. In deze functie als rangeerder in Barendrecht werk je veilig, zelfstandig en met uitzicht op een vast contract. Je krijgt een mooi salaris en volop kansen om door te groeien naar bijvoorbeeld vrachtwagenchauffeur. Je start direct bij dit bedrijf in een professionele havenomgeving. Over de functie Als rangeerder ben jij dagelijks bezig met het verplaatsen van trailers op het terrein. Je rijdt met een terminaltrekker en zorgt dat alles efficiënt en veilig verloopt. Je koppelt en ontkoppelt trailers, checkt de lading en documenten en houdt alles netjes in het logboek bij. Samen met de planners en je collega-chauffeurs stem je af zodat alles op rolletjes loopt - soms in ploegendiensten. Je start de dag met een veiligheidscheck en maakt je terminaltrekker klaar voor gebruik. Je houdt je hoofd koel als het druk is en signaleert direct als er schade of iets opvallends is. Je dag is nooit saai: je bent steeds in beweging, werkt veel buiten en hebt contact met collega's uit verschillende teams.
