Vacature: Restauratie medewerker Je werkt als timmerman en/of metselaar aan kloosters, monumentale panden en andere bijzondere gebouwen met een verhaal. Je herstelt, vervangt en verstevigt bestaande onderdelen en krijgt de vrijheid om je vakmanschap in de praktijk te brengen. Wat je gaat doen Als Restauratiemedewerker werk je aan het behoud en herstel van bijzondere gebouwen. Denk aan kloosters, landgoederen en monumentale panden. Je onderzoekt wat er nodig is, herstelt of vervangt beschadigde onderdelen en zorgt dat waardevolle details behouden blijven. Afhankelijk van jouw vakgebied voer je timmerwerk, metselwerk of een combinatie daarvan uit. Je werkt aan grote en kleine restauratieprojecten, waarbij geen gebouw en geen werkdag hetzelfde is. Soms herstel je bestaand houtwerk, soms verstevig je een constructie of breng je metselwerk terug in de oorspronkelijke staat. Je bepaalt zelfstandig hoe je een klus het beste kunt aanpakken of overlegt hierover met je collega's. Daarbij krijg je goed gereedschap, de juiste materialen en voldoende ruimte om zorgvuldig te werken. Je hebt oog voor detail, respect voor het bestaande gebouw en bent pas tevreden als het werk technisch én zichtbaar klopt. Ook wanneer je nog geen uitgebreide ervaring in restauratie hebt, maar het vak graag wilt leren, komen we graag met je in contact.
