Voor een van onze klanten, actief binnen een complexe industriële omgeving in regio Hoboken, zijn we op zoek naar een hands-on Safety Officer / Preventieadviseur.

Ben jij iemand die veiligheid niet alleen vanuit procedures bekijkt, maar vooral graag aanwezig is op de werkvloer? Krijg je energie van het adviseren van collega's en contractors en zie je zelf waar zaken veiliger of beter kunnen? Dan kan dit een interessante volgende stap zijn.

Functie omschrijving Als Safety Officer / Preventieadviseur ondersteun je het safetyteam bij de dagelijkse veiligheidsopvolging van uiteenlopende technische en bouwkundige projecten.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • veiligheidsopvolging van kleinere en grotere projecten;
  • regelmatig aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer en veiligheidsrisico's proactief herkennen;
  • praktisch veiligheidsadvies geven aan collega's, contractors en leveranciers;
  • contractors en externe partijen vanuit veiligheidsperspectief opvolgen;
  • veiligheidsaspecten bij technische stilstanden mee opvolgen;
  • meedenken over veilige uitvoering van technische en bouwkundige werkzaamheden;
  • samenwerken en overleggen met de interne preventiedienst;
  • opleidingstrajecten mee uitwerken en opleidingsplannen verder structureren;
  • veiligheidsdocumentatie correct en nauwkeurig opstellen en opvolgen;
  • zelfstandig knelpunten signaleren en haalbare oplossingen voorstellen.

De projecten zijn zeer uiteenlopend. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan bouw- en constructiewerken, betonnen structuren, plaatsing van transportbanden, werkzaamheden aan bestaande technische installaties en geplande stilstanden. Voor deze functie zoeken we vooral iemand met goesting, initiatief en een praktische ingesteldheid.

Je hoeft nog geen jarenlange ervaring als safetyprofessional te hebben. Ook een relatief junior profiel dat zich verder wil ontwikkelen binnen veiligheid kan interessant zijn.

Idealiter herken je jezelf in het volgende:

  • je beschikt over een opleiding Preventieadviseur niveau 2 of niveau 3;
  • je hebt bij voorkeur ongeveer 2 à 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen safety, preventie of een industriële/productieomgeving;
  • je voelt je thuis in een technische en industriële omgeving;
  • ervaring met contractors en leveranciers is een pluspunt;
  • je bent hands-on en gaat graag zelf de werkvloer op;
  • je neemt initiatief en wacht niet af tot iemand jou vertelt wat er moet gebeuren;
  • je kunt zelfstandig werken en denkt oplossingsgericht;
  • je werkt nauwkeurig, ook wanneer het gaat om documentatie en schriftelijke communicatie;
  • je kunt goed omgaan met een omgeving die regelmatig verandert;
  • je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands;
  • je kunt vlot overweg met de courante Office-toepassingen.

Kennis of ervaring binnen milieu is voor deze functie niet noodzakelijk.
