Je geeft leiding aan het team van Field Sales Accountmanagers en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Business Area Manager Laboratorium Benelux. In deze rol stel je samen met de Business Area Manager een jaarlijks sales- en marketingactieplan op en ben je verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van het verkoopplan en het behalen van de jaartargets. Je draagt bij aan het bepalen van de strategie voor de laboratoriummarkt en zorgt voor de implementatie van deze strategie, inclusief Mettler's salesstrategie en Sales Force guidance binnen het hele team. Je bent actief betrokken bij het managen van je team, waarbij je de Field Sales Accountmanagers ondersteunt en coacht op zowel commerciële als technische aspecten. Dit doe je onder andere door regelmatig mee te reizen met verkopers om hen te begeleiden en te coachen. Je houdt periodiek overleg met je team om de voortgang van werkzaamheden te bespreken en waar nodig bij te sturen. Een belangrijke verantwoordelijkheid is het beheer van een actuele en verantwoorde (demo)voorraad voor het gehele team. Daarnaast zorg je voor het opleiden van verkopers, technici en andere relevante medewerkers op het gebied van verkoop, zodat iedereen optimaal voorbereid is om de klant te bedienen. Samen met de Business Area Manager en in overleg met de Marcom-manager stel je lokale marketing- en communicatieplannen op die aansluiten bij de wensen en behoeften van de markt. Je bent ook verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van prijsvoorstellen op basis van richtlijnen van de Business Area Manager.
