De provincie Limburg zoekt een senior beleidsmedewerker Wonen die aan de lat staat voor twee belangrijke opgaven: de uitvoering van de geactualiseerde woondeal en het versnellen van de woningbouwopgave. In deze functie zorg je ervoor dat bestuurlijke afspraken niet alleen worden gemaakt, maar ook daadwerkelijk worden vertaald naar concrete voortgang en zichtbare resultaten. Dit doe je niet alleen maar als sleutelfiguur in dit dynamisch netwerk/omgeving. Limburg staat voor een omvangrijke en veelzijdige woonopgave. De behoefte aan voldoende betaalbare, passende en toekomstbestendige woningen is groot. Tegelijkertijd is de woningmarkt nauw verweven met bredere maatschappelijke vraagstukken, zoals leefbaarheid, vergrijzing, aandachtsgroepen, energie en de kwaliteit van de leefomgeving. Dat vraagt om samenhangende keuzes én om het vermogen om plannen daadwerkelijk tot uitvoering te brengen. De provincie Limburg heeft hierin een belangrijke regie- en sturingsrol. Samen met het Rijk, gemeenten, woningcorporaties, marktpartijen en andere partners werkt de provincie aan de uitvoering van de afspraken uit de woondeal en aan het versnellen/aanjagen van de woningbouw. Daarbij gaat het niet alleen om het ontwikkelen van beleid maar vooral om voortgang te realiseren, knelpunten te doorbreken en partijen in beweging te krijgen.
