Als senior software developer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp en de bouw van de complexe en nieuwe onderdelen van ons dataplatform. Is de oplossing nog niet bekend en alleen de richting duidelijk, dan neem jij het voortouw om een aanpak te bedenken. Je denkt na en neemt eigenaarschap over architectuur van oplossingen, patronen en technieken en bouwt die samen met de teams. Je modelleert complexe domeinen en zorgt dat modellen, verwerking en ontsluiting op schaal blijven werken. Je analyseert structurele knelpunten in bijvoorbeeld het platform, zoals schaalbaarheid, performance, datakwaliteit en herleidbaarheid. Je adviseert de product owner en de architectuur community over verbeteringen. Daarnaast schrijf, test en onderhoud je dagelijks, samen met je teamgenoten, programmeertaal om de software en applicaties te onderhouden. Je neemt hierin de rol van mentor en technisch aanspreekpunt. Je ontwikkelt de vakvolwassenheid van het hele team, verkent de ontwikkelbehoeften en coacht collega's naar een hoger niveau. Je bewaakt de samenhang van het gezamenlijke product over meerdere teams en houdt overzicht over het geheel. Waar ga je werken? Team Warehouse is het datawarehouse voor operationele data in de opsporing en intelligence. We verzamelen, verwerken, modelleren en ontsluiten grote en uiteenlopende databronnen. Analisten, developers en operationele teams werken daar dag en nacht mee. Onze dataproducten worden gebruikt door zo'n 14.000 collega's: developers die op ons platform bouwen, analisten die zelf code schrijven en collega's die via onze eigen en andere interne applicaties met de data werken.
