Als Senior Mechanical System Engineer verbind je mechanica, automatisering en andere technische disciplines met elkaar. Je krijgt veel vrijheid om mee te bouwen aan slimme robotiseringsoplossingen én aan je eigen rol binnen het team. Van een eerste technisch concept naar een complete oplossing die daadwerkelijk gebouwd en in bedrijf gesteld kan worden. Dat is waar jij energie van krijgt. Binnen het robotiseringsteam ben jij de technische verbindende factor op mechanisch gebied. Je werkt samen met concept engineers, software- en hardware engineers, projectleiders, monteurs, klanten en externe partners. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alle technische onderdelen op elkaar aansluiten en dat een ontwerp niet alleen op papier klopt, maar ook in de praktijk werkt. Een belangrijk onderdeel van je rol is dat je de technische lijn bewaakt van concept tot uitvoering. Je stelt ontwerpspecificaties op, denkt mee over technische haalbaarheid en coördineert de mechanische partners die betrokken zijn bij het ontwerp en de realisatie. Ook tijdens de uitvoering blijf jij betrokken. Bij technische vraagstukken weten collega's en partners jou te vinden. Je organiseert design reviews, bewaakt de technische kwaliteit en zorgt dat zaken als CE en technische borging goed geregeld zijn. En misschien wel het leukste: dit is een nieuwe functie.
