Bij een machinebouwer in Beneden-Leeuwen werk je aan de besturing van transportsystemen. Als Senior PLC Engineer vertaal je functionele eisen naar overzichtelijke PLC-software en verzorg je de implementatie en inbedrijfstelling. Je kijkt verder dan afzonderlijke softwareblokken: ook de samenhang tussen transportbewegingen, besturingslogica en gekoppelde systemen vraagt jouw aandacht. Van het detailleren van de software tot het testen op locatie draag je bij aan betrouwbaar werkende installaties die goed te onderhouden zijn. In de dagelijkse praktijk combineer je programmeren met testen, storingsanalyse en technische afstemming. Je werkt samen met collega-engineers en betrokkenen op locatie om interfaces met externe systemen goed te laten functioneren. Tijdens inbedrijfstellingen controleer je de werking en leg je resultaten vast. Je verdiept je in herbruikbare softwarestructuren en benut ervaringen uit onderhoud en commissioning om standaarden en transportsystemen verder te verbeteren.
