Je wilt complexe automatiseringsvraagstukken omzetten in besturingen die betrouwbaar en efficiënt werken. Als Senior PLC Engineer heb je een belangrijke rol in het ontwerpen, programmeren en optimaliseren van industriële besturingen. Van PLC- en HMI-software tot motion control en commissioning: je bent betrokken bij het volledige traject. Krijg de vrijheid om technische keuzes te maken en jouw kennis in te zetten voor slimme machinebouw. Wat ga je doen?Voor onze opdrachtgever in Kerkrade ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, programmeren, testen en in bedrijf stellen van PLC-besturingen voor klant-specifieke machines en automatiseringsoplossingen. Je ontwikkelt PLC- en HMI-software met Siemens-besturingen en werkt onder andere met TIA Portal, SCL en FBD/Ladder. Je vertaalt de technische werking van een machine naar een betrouwbare besturing en zorgt dat verschillende componenten correct met elkaar communiceren. Bij complexe technische vraagstukken analyseer je de oorzaak en ontwikkel je passende softwarematige oplossingen. Daarnaast verbeter je bestaande softwarestandaarden en optimaliseer je machinefuncties op het gebied van betrouwbaarheid, efficiëntie en veiligheid. Je bent vanaf de engineeringfase betrokken bij projecten en blijft betrokken tot en met het testen en in bedrijf stellen van de machine. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met Mechanical Engineers, elektrotechnische collega's en de montageploeg. Je bent ook een technisch aanspreekpunt voor collega's en klanten en denkt mee over de beste technische oplossing. Incidenteel reis je naar nationale en internationale locaties voor commissioning, storingsanalyse en technische ondersteuning. Jouw werkzaamheden - Ontwerpen, programmeren en testen van PLC-besturingen voor klant-specifieke machines en automatiseringslijnen; - Ontwikkelen en aanpassen van PLC- en HMI-software met Siemens TIA Portal; - Programmeren in SCL en FBD/Ladder en toepassen van gestructureerde softwarestandaarden; - Configureren en testen..
