Bij een technisch specialist in industriële automatisering in Den Haag werk je aan de besturing en beveiliging van (petro)chemische fabrieken. Als Senior Process Control Engineer vertaal je procesgedrag, bedrijfsvoering en veiligheidsrisico’s naar functionele specificaties voor DCS- en safeguarding-systemen. Je kijkt daarbij verder dan de software: welke regelingen zijn nodig om het proces beheersbaar te houden, en welke beveiligingsfuncties moeten ingrijpen bij een gevaarlijke situatie? In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je nauw samen met process engineers aan een goed bestuurbaar procesontwerp. Je levert input voor P&ID’s, bespreekt technische keuzes met eindgebruikers en DCS-leveranciers en neemt deel aan HAZOP-studies en SIL-assessments. Daarbij verbind je proceskennis met de praktische implementatie van automatiseringsoplossingen. Je krijgt ruimte om inhoudelijk initiatief te nemen en je verder te ontwikkelen richting lead engineering, projectmanagement of technisch consultancywerk. Functie-inhoud - Besturings- en beveiligingsfuncties voor (petro)chemische processen identificeren en specificeren - Functionele specificaties opstellen voor DCS-software en safeguarding-systemen - Met process engineers de bestuurbaarheid van het procesontwerp verbeteren - Input leveren voor P&ID’s en andere procesontwerpdocumenten - Deelnemen aan HAZOP-studies en SIL-assessments - Technisch complexe automatiseringsoplossingen implementeren en configureren - Functionele en technische keuzes afstemmen met eindgebruikers, ingenieursbureaus en DCS-leveranciers Functie-eisen - Afgeronde hbo- of HTS-opleiding in industriële automatisering, procestechnologie, chemische technologie, elektrotechniek of werktuigbouwkunde - Meerdere jaren relevante ervaring met process control engineering - Kennis van of ervaring met control systems, machinesturing en procesveiligheid - Proceskennis binnen olie en gas, chemie, farmacie of water - Zelfstandige, gestructureerde werkwijze en vaardigheid in techni.
