The posting

Bij een maritieme organisatie in de natte waterbouw in Rotterdam werk je aan de automatisering van hopperzuigers en installatieschepen. Als Senior Process Control Engineer ontwerp, ontwikkel en borg je OT-systemen die bijdragen aan veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte scheepsoperaties. Vanuit het vlootbeheer begeleid je de volledige levenscyclus: van functioneel ontwerp en inbedrijfstelling tot onderhoud, storingsanalyse en optimalisatie. Je combineert technische projectverantwoordelijkheid met praktisch werk aan boord. Je dagelijkse werk bestaat uit het uitwerken van PLC- en SCADA-specificaties, afstemmen met leveranciers en testen van besturingen. Je werkt binnen Electrical & Automation samen met specialisten in process control en productieautomatisering. Zorgvuldig ontwerpen en documenteren gaat vooraf aan de implementatie. Tijdens bezoeken aan schepen, werven en projectlocaties toets je oplossingen aan de praktijk. Je verdiept je daarnaast in OT-cybersecurity, simulatie, virtuele inbedrijfstelling en het toepassen van operationele data en AI. Functie-inhoud - Operationele behoeften vertalen naar technische specificaties en functionele ontwerpen voor PLC-, SCADA- en OT-systemen. - OT-cybersecurity en netwerkarchitectuur integreren in ontwerp en implementatie. - Nieuwbouw- en upgradeprojecten leiden, leveranciers aansturen en scope, planning, budget en risico’s bewaken. - Acceptatietests voorbereiden, begeleiden en documenteren en systemen aan boord in bedrijf stellen. - PLC-, SCADA- en netwerkstoringen analyseren en aanpassingen uitvoeren, valideren en vastleggen. - Systemen vooraf valideren met simulatie en virtuele inbedrijfstelling. - Operationele data analyseren en nieuwe technologieën, waaronder AI, toepassen waar deze waarde toevoegen. Functie-eisen - Je hebt minimaal hbo-werk- en -denkniveau in industriële automatisering, elektrotechniek, werktuigbouw of MAROF. - Je hebt minimaal 10 jaar ervaring met automatisering, besturingssystemen of datagedreven indu.
