Bij een machinebouwer voor de internationale horti-sector ontwikkel je als Senior Software Engineer PLC / PC slimme besturingen voor mechanisatie en automatisering in de bedekte tuinbouw. De systemen verbinden productie-, verwerkings- en logistieke processen, van oogsten tot verpakken. Als eerste fulltime programmeur in-house haal je kennis van leveranciers naar binnen en versterk je de eigen engineeringcapaciteit. Je bepaalt de softwarearchitectuur en draagt met duurzame automatisering bij aan de wereldwijde voedselbeschikbaarheid. Je werkdag wisselt tussen programmeren, architectuurkeuzes maken en bestaande besturingsplatformen verbeteren. Samen met collega's uit hardware-engineering en mechatronica en met projectleiders binnen het multidisciplinaire team stem je software en machinegedrag op elkaar af. Je vertaalt complexe techniek naar gebruiksvriendelijke oplossingen en onderzoekt toepassingen van Internet of Things, big data en Industrie 4.0. Daarbij krijg je ruimte om je vakkennis te verdiepen en richting te geven aan de softwareontwikkeling. Wat ga je doen? - Ontwikkelen en implementeren van nieuwe besturingsapplicaties voor PLC- en PC-systemen. - Vormgeven van de softwarearchitectuur voor bestaande en nieuwe producten en systemen. - Integreren van softwareoplossingen met toepassingen van Internet of Things, big data en Industrie 4.0. - Stapsgewijs herinrichten en standaardiseren van bestaande besturingsplatformen. - Optimaliseren van de samenwerking tussen hardware en software in mechatronische machines. - Overdragen en borgen van leverancierskennis binnen de eigen engineeringorganisatie. - Vertalen van complexe techniek naar slimme, gebruiksvriendelijke oplossingen voor productie, verwerking en logistiek. Wat vragen we van jou? - Je hebt een afgeronde hbo-opleiding Mechatronica, Elektronica of Industriële Automatisering. - Je hebt ruime ervaring met PLC-programmering, PC-programmering of beide en kunt zelfstandig architectuurkeuzes onderbouwen. - Je bent.
