The posting

Bij een industriële automatiseerder in Veghel werk je aan besturingssoftware voor lokale en internationale voedingsmiddelenproducenten. Als Senior Software Engineer PLC/SCADA vertaal je klantwensen naar technische ontwerpen en software voor het automatiseren van productielijnen. Je gebruikt je uitgebreide kennis van PCS7 en ISA-88 om procesbesturingen gestructureerd op te bouwen. Je verantwoordelijkheid loopt van ontwerp en configuratie tot testen en inbedrijfstelling bij de klant. In de dagelijkse praktijk pak je zelfstandig projecten op en stem je de voortgang af met de Lead Software Engineer. Je bespreekt technische keuzes met collega’s, test elkaars software in een fysieke testopstelling en controleert vervolgens op locatie of de besturing werkt zoals bedoeld. Daarbij denk je mee over verbeteringen in de software en de gekozen oplossingen. Via projecten, kennisuitwisseling en online trainingen kun je je verder verdiepen in industriële automatisering en doorgroeien in je vak. Wat ga je doen? - Klantwensen vertalen naar een technisch ontwerp voor PLC/SCADA-besturingen - Besturingssoftware ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en configureren vanuit het functioneel ontwerp - PCS7 en ISA-88 toepassen bij de automatisering van voedingsmiddelenproductie - Eigen software en die van collega’s testen in een fysieke testopstelling - Software bij de klant testen en in bedrijf stellen - Zelfstandig projecten uitvoeren en voortgang rapporteren aan de Lead Software Engineer - Meedenken over verbeteringen en nieuwe technische oplossingen Wat vragen we van jou? - Afgeronde technische opleiding, bijvoorbeeld Elektrotechniek, Mechatronica of Industriële Automatisering - Minimaal vijf jaar ervaring als Software Engineer binnen de industriële automatisering - Uitgebreide kennis van PCS7-systemen en ISA-88; kennis van andere PLC-systemen is een pré - Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal - Bereidheid om voor projecten naar het buitenland te reizen - Je werkt nauwkeurig en zelfstan.
