Wie zijn wij?

Avocom is een MSP die KMO’s ondersteunt met alles wat IT raakt: van dagelijks beheer over cloudmigraties tot securityadvies en infrastructuurprojecten.

Geen callcenters, geen eindeloze lagen of tickets die blijven liggen — wél directe lijnen, technisch sterke mensen en echte partnerships met onze klanten.

We zijn een klein, hecht team (5 collega’s, jij wordt nummer 6) dat graag samenwerkt, verantwoordelijkheid opneemt en trots is op degelijk werk. Bij ons ben je geen nummer, maar iemand die impact heeft op klanten én op het bedrijf.

Wat ga jij doen?

Als Senior System Engineer / IT Operations Engineer ben jij een van onze technische zwaartepunten. Je werkt in de volledige breedte van IT-beheer — ideaal voor wie variatie wil en energie krijgt van “end-to-end” werken.

Jouw taken:

  • Je beheert en bouwt moderne IT-omgevingen voor KMO’s: Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Online, Intune, Windows Server, netwerken, back-ups, security…
  • Je werkt zowel operationeel (beheer, troubleshooting, support) als projectmatig (opzet, migraties, modernisaties).
  • Je neemt de lead in analyse, ontwerp en implementatie van projecten. (Groot genoeg om uitdagend te zijn, klein genoeg om behapbaar te blijven.)
  • Je adviseert klanten rechtstreeks: van praktische beslissingen tot IT-roadmaps en verbeterplannen.
  • Je zorgt voor een duidelijke overdracht naar collega’s en bewaakt de kwaliteit.
  • Je helpt klanten via telefoon, remote of ter plaatse — ook eens eerste of tweede lijn wanneer dat nodig is. Bij Avocom doet iedereen mee, van complex project tot dringende vraag.

Wie ben jij?

We zoeken geen junior, maar iemand met bewezen ervaring en overzicht. Iemand die breed onderlegd is én zich snel thuis voelt in een MSP-omgeving.

Jij hebt:

  • Meerdere jaren ervaring als System Engineer / Systeembeheerder / IT Operations Engineer.
  • Sterke kennis of voeling met meerdere van deze domeinen: Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Server, netwerken/firewalls, back-ups, security, automatisatie…
  • Een brede technische basis en de drive om continu bij te leren.
  • Het vermogen om klanten helder en zelfstandig te adviseren, zonder er een consultant-carrière van te moeten maken.
  • De gewoonte om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen en beslissingen te durven maken.
  • Een rijbewijs B en woonplaats in Vlaanderen.

Extra expertise in bepaalde domeinen (security, networking, cloud, automation…) is welkom — zolang je ook de algemene breedte wil bewaken.
