The posting

Als shovelmachinist zorg jij ervoor dat verschillende materiaalstromen op het terrein op de juiste plek terechtkomen.

Je brengt een groot deel van je werkdag door op de shovel. Je verplaatst materialen, maakt voorraden vrij, zorgt dat vrachtwagens goed geladen kunnen worden en houdt het terrein overzichtelijk. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met collega's, chauffeurs en andere machinisten.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

- Besturen van de shovel; - Verplaatsen en verzamelen van verschillende materiaalstromen; - Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens; - Verdelen en op voorraad zetten van materialen; - Controleren of materialen op de juiste plek terechtkomen; - Signaleren van afwijkingen of onveilige situaties; - Schoon en overzichtelijk houden van het terrein.

Je werkt zelfstandig, maar staat er niet alleen voor. Op het terrein werk je samen met een praktisch team waarin iedereen zijn eigen verantwoordelijkheid heeft en elkaar helpt wanneer dat nodig is.

Het gaat om een fulltime functie van 40 uur per week. Werken op zaterdag? Dat gebeurd in overleg!

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die al ervaring heeft met een shovel of vergelijkbare machine.

Verder:

- Heb je ervaring als shovelmachinist, wielladermachinist of machinist groot materieel; - Kun je zelfstandig en veilig met een shovel werken; - Heb je goed overzicht op een druk buitenterrein; - Ben je praktisch ingesteld en niet bang om je handen vuil te maken; - Kun je goed samenwerken met chauffeurs en collega's; - Is een VCA-certificaat mooi meegenomen; - Is een heftruckcertificaat een pré.

Je hoeft niet uit precies dezelfde branche te komen. Heb je bijvoorbeeld gewerkt in recycling, grondverzet, infra, overslag, bouwstoffen of een andere omgeving met groot materieel? Dan kan jouw ervaring goed aansluiten.
