Als Teamleider Backend zorg jij ervoor dat meer dan 10 miljoen actieve leden op elk moment van de dag gebruik kunnen maken van onze website. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor zowel de applicatie als het leiden van ons Backend team. Je speelt een actieve rol in het ontwikkelingsproces en in de ondersteuning van je team. Je behoudt het overzicht over de systemen waarmee je team werkt en fungeert als een waardevolle bron van kennis en advies voor je collega-backenders. Vanuit de functie stuur je projecten en andere developers aan, rapporteer je periodiek over voortgang en ondersteun je in het management bij vraagstukken die de afdeling overstijgen. Waar houd je je zoal mee bezig als Teamleider Backend? - Je weet je team positief te stimuleren bij het behalen van hun doelen en stuurt bij waar nodig - Je stimuleert de professionele ontwikkeling binnen het team - Je draagt bij aan de werving en neemt deel aan sollicitatiegesprekken samen met onze Recruiters - Je monitort en evalueert de effectiviteit en kwaliteit van het team en vertaalt knelpunten naar verbeteringen - Je blijft op de hoogte van de nieuwste softwareontwikkelingen en -methoden, met een specifieke focus op PHP - Je prioriteert het backendwerk in samenspraak met je team en de Product Owners - Je werkt mee aan het uitbreiden en verbeteren van verschillende code bases - Je presenteert demo's aan de stakeholders (bijvoorbeeld aan de directie of andere afdelingen) Met wie ga je dat doen? Je komt terecht in een gezellig team van meer dan 65 collega's, bestaande uit developers, product owners, quality assurance testers, UX/UI designers en stagiairs.
