Als Software Engineer bouw je bij Strado Group mee aan robuuste, schaalbare software voor de energiesector: van backend- en frontendservices in Java tot data-integraties en AI-ondersteunde development. Dat doe je in nauwe samenwerking met squad leads, analisten en data scientists.

Jouw rol

Als Software Engineer werk je samen in een team met squad leads, analisten, developers en data scientists. Je bouwt mee aan robuuste, schaalbare software die elke dag wordt ingezet in de energiesector.

Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt backend- en frontendservices in Java, en je werkt daarbij met microservices en API's. Je integreert verschillende datastromen in performante architecturen, met veel aandacht voor codekwaliteit, testbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid.

Je zet AI-tools slim in bij je werk als developer. Je denkt actief mee over systeemarchitectuur en ontwerpt oplossingen die schaalbaar en stabiel zijn, met oog voor performance, foutafhandeling, logging en monitoring.

Daarnaast werk je aan datapipelines en integraties, en je levert technische input voor de productroadmap. Je neemt deel aan sprintplanningen, code reviews en retrospectives, en zo draag je bij aan de continue verbetering van onze producten en onze manier van werken.

  • Je hebt minstens drie jaar ervaring als backend software engineer en bouwt vlot schaalbare services in Java, via microservices, REST API's of event-driven architecturen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met data-integratie en -verwerking.
  • Je werkt volgens best practices zoals test-driven development, continuous integration en geautomatiseerde testen.
  • Je communiceert helder met zowel technische als niet-technische stakeholders, en je werkt zelfstandig, proactief en kritisch.
  • Je denkt graag mee, neemt ownership en wil impact maken met je code.
  • Ervaring met Python, cloudplatformen (AWS, Azure of GCP) of relationele en/of NoSQL-databases is een plus. Kennis van agentic development is een grote troef.
