Bij een machinebouwer in Maastricht werk je aan de besturing van installaties voor continu mengen en verwerken van ingrediënten. Deze machines worden toegepast in de food- en non-foodindustrie, waar nauwkeurige dosering, processtabiliteit en reproduceerbare resultaten belangrijk zijn. Als Software Engineer PLC vertaal je de werking van zo’n installatie naar overzichtelijke besturingssoftware, met aandacht voor procesregeling, bedienbaarheid en veilige machinetoestanden. In de dagelijkse praktijk houd je je bezig met PLC-logica, HMI-bediening en het testen van automatische processtappen. Je stemt functionele keuzes af met collega’s uit de mechanische en elektrotechnische disciplines en onderzoekt hoe software en machinegedrag op elkaar aansluiten. Daarbij verdiep je je in mengprocessen, regeltechniek en storingsdiagnose. Zo ontwikkel je niet alleen je programmeervaardigheden, maar ook je inzicht in de samenhang tussen ingrediënten, procesparameters en machinebesturing. Wat ga je doen? - Ontwikkelen en aanpassen van PLC-software voor continue meng- en verwerkingsinstallaties - Vertalen van procesbeschrijvingen naar besturingslogica en automatische processtappen - Inrichten van HMI-schermen voor bediening, procesparameters en alarmmeldingen - Afstemmen van signalen en interfaces met elektrotechnische en mechanische collega’s - Testen van doseerfuncties, regelkringen, vergrendelingen en storingsafhandeling - Analyseren van besturingsproblemen en documenteren van softwarewijzigingen Wat vragen we van jou? - Een technische opleiding in industriële automatisering, elektrotechniek of mechatronica - Ervaring met PLC-programmering binnen de machinebouw of procesautomatisering - Kennis van IEC 61131-3-programmeertalen, zoals Structured Text en Ladder - Inzicht in HMI-bediening, sensoren, aandrijvingen en industriële communicatie - Affiniteit met doseertechniek, mengprocessen en procesregeling - Een systematische werkwijze bij testen, storingsanalyse en technische afstemming.
