The posting

Voor een innovatieve ontwikkelaar van hoogtechnologische industriële oplossingen zoeken we een Software Quality Architect. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van een modern softwareplatform dat industriële productieprocessen aanstuurt.

Je ontwikkelt een toekomstgerichte kwaliteitsstrategie, bouwt testautomatisering verder uit en werkt nauw samen met softwareontwikkelaars, DevOps Engineers, Product Owners en Support Engineers. Je hebt impact op de volledige softwarestack: van frontend en backend tot cloudinfrastructuur, CI/CD en industriële machine-integraties.

Jouw uitdaging Je zorgt ervoor dat software niet alleen correct werkt, maar ook schaalbaar, betrouwbaar en onderhoudbaar blijft. Je vertaalt praktijkervaringen uit productieomgevingen naar een doordachte teststrategie en helpt het ontwikkelteam om kwaliteit vanaf de eerste regel code te verankeren.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden Quality Strategy

  • Je ontwikkelt en bewaakt de kwaliteitsstrategie voor een modern softwareplatform.
  • Je vertaalt feedback van klanten, supportteams en productieomgevingen naar concrete testscenario's.
  • Je introduceert een risico-gebaseerde testaanpak waarbij de focus ligt op de onderdelen met de grootste impact.
  • Je definieert kwaliteitscriteria en releasevoorwaarden die bijdragen aan een stabiele softwareomgeving zonder de ontwikkelsnelheid te vertragen.

Test Automation

  • Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt geautomatiseerde testen voor backendservices, webapplicaties, API's en databankintegraties.
  • Je integreert automatische kwaliteitscontroles in CI/CD-pipelines zodat regressies vroegtijdig worden gedetecteerd.
  • Je bouwt aan een testomgeving die eenvoudig uitbreidbaar en onderhoudbaar is voor het volledige developmentteam.

Platform Validation

  • Je valideert complexe softwareflows, API's, databases, microservices en industriële integraties.
  • Je bewaakt de betrouwbaarheid, performantie en dataconsistentie van het platform.
  • Je analyseert technische risico's en vertaalt deze naar gerichte validatie- en testscenario's.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement

  • Je ondersteunt softwareontwikkelaars bij het toepassen van best practices rond testing, observability en kwaliteitsbewaking.
  • Je helpt regressies voorkomen door testing structureel te integreren in het ontwikkelproces.
  • Je stimuleert een kwaliteitscultuur waarin continue verbetering centraal staat.

Ervaring

  • Je hebt ervaring binnen softwareontwikkeling, software testing of software quality.
  • Je werkte eerder in een frontend-, backend- of full-stackomgeving.
  • Je hebt ervaring met testautomatisering en het opzetten van kwaliteitsprocessen.
  • Je bent bereid af en toe internationale klantenlocaties te bezoeken om software in een reële productieomgeving te evalueren.

Technische kennis Je hoeft niet elk onderdeel volledig te beheersen, maar je hebt een brede technische interesse en begrijpt hoe softwarearchitectuur de kwaliteit van een platform beïnvloedt.

Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met:

  • C# en .NET
  • Angular of moderne frontendframeworks
  • REST API's
  • PostgreSQL of andere relationele databanken
  • Python
  • Microservices
  • Testautomatisering (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium of gelijkaardige tools)
  • Azure DevOps, GitHub of CI/CD-pipelines
  • Docker, Kubernetes en containerplatformen
