The posting

Voor een hoogwaardig culinair concept in volle herontwikkeling zoeken wij een gedreven Sous-Chef met passie voor gastronomie en verfijning. Als rechterhand van de Chef ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse keukenwerking. Je werkt actief mee aan de creatie van verfijnde gerechten met seizoensgebonden en lokale producten, stuurt het team aan waar nodig en waakt over kwaliteit, presentatie en consistentie. Je denkt mee na over nieuwe menu's en draagt bij aan een sterke culinaire identiteit.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Assisteren van de Chef bij de voorbereiding en presentatie van gerechten van topkwaliteit.
  • Toezicht houden op het keukenteam en ervoor zorgen dat de operationele processen soepel verlopen.
  • Meewerken aan de creatie van vernieuwende menu's met lokale en seizoensgebonden producten.
  • Zorgen voor naleving van HACCP-voorschriften en hoge hygiëne- en kwaliteitsstandaarden.
  • Bijdragen aan het trainen van het team en zorgen voor een inspirerende werkomgeving.
  • In staat zijn om de keuken te leiden bij afwezigheid van de Chef.

Profiel:

  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie in een hoogwaardig restaurant.
  • Passie voor gastronomie en een verfijnde smaak voor het werken met lokale, verse ingrediënten.
  • Uitstekende culinaire en organisatorische vaardigheden, met oog voor detail.
  • Teamspeler die goed kan samenwerken en het keukenteam kan inspireren.
  • Oplossingsgericht, stressbestendig en flexibel.
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands; kennis van Frans en Engels is een pluspunt.
