We zijn op zoek naar een bekwame en toegewijde Sous-chef om het keukenteam van ons Aziatisch restaurant in Maasmechelen, België, te versterken. Onder leiding van de chef-kok speel je een sleutelrol bij het bereiden van gerechten van hoge kwaliteit, het behouden van consistentie en het ondersteunen van de soepele werking van de keuken. Deze functie vereist aandacht voor detail, een sterke arbeidsethos en een passie voor de Aziatische keuken.

Jouw takenpakket:

* Volg recepten en Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) om gerechten met precisie en consistentie te bereiden en te bereiden.

* Helpen bij het leveren van consistente kwaliteit in smaak, presentatie en portiegroottes voor alle menu-items.

* Werk samen met het keukenteam om te zorgen voor tijdige en efficiënte service tijdens drukke periodes.

* Zorg voor een schone, georganiseerde en veilige werkplek in overeenstemming met de voedselveiligheidsnormen.

* Ondersteun inventarisatietaken, zoals het controleren van voorraadniveaus en het assisteren bij voorbereidend werk zoals aangegeven.

* Draag bij aan een positieve teamomgeving door nauw samen te werken met collega's en leiderschapsrichtlijnen op te volgen.

Je profiel:

* Eerdere ervaring als Sous-chef of in een vergelijkbare keukenrol, idealiter met kennis van de Aziatische keuken.

* Instapposities zijn ook beschikbaar voor mensen met een "can do"-houding en bereid zijn om te leren.

* Mogelijkheid om recepten en instructies nauwkeurig te volgen met behoud van hoge normen.

* Comfortabel werken in een snelle omgeving en meerdere taken efficiënt uitvoeren.

* Basiskennis van voedselveiligheid en hygiënepraktijken (kennis van HACCP-systemen is een pluspunt).

* Teamspeler met goede communicatieve vaardigheden en bereidheid om te leren. Fysiek uithoudingsvermogen om lang te staan en de eisen van een drukke keuken aan te kunnen.

* Talenkennis is ondergeschikt, als men maar gemotiveerd is
