Jouw nieuwe baan Op een afdeling voor mensen met niet-aangeboren hersenletsel (NAH) draag je als specialist ouderengeneeskunde de medische eindverantwoordelijkheid. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de behandeling van revalidanten en cliënten met ernstige bewustzijnsstoornissen, waaronder het niet-responsief waaksyndroom en de laagbewuste toestand. Samen met een multidisciplinair behandelteam bepaal je de behandelkoers. Je werkt met medische en paramedische disciplines aan complexe neuropsychiatrische en somatische problematiek. Daarbij bewaak je de samenhang tussen behandelingen, geef je inhoudelijk richting aan het team en stuur je op kwaliteit van zorg. Goede behandeling gaat hier verder dan medische interventies. Ook gedragsregulatie, dagstructuur, participatie en de interactie met de omgeving verdienen aandacht. Je weegt deze aspecten mee in behandelbeslissingen en houdt rekening met de invloed van de woon- en leefomgeving op het dagelijks functioneren van cliënten. Naast je medische verantwoordelijkheid draag je bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van specialistische NAH-zorg. Je denkt mee over de behandelvisie, deelt jouw expertise en werkt samen met regionale en landelijke zorgpartners.
