Waar kom je terecht? De gemeente Horst aan de Maas ligt in Noord-Limburg en zet zich in voor een veilige leefomgeving voor inwoners, ondernemers en bezoekers. Veiligheid is hier een thema dat dichtbij de mensen staat. Van evenementen tot maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen: de gemeente wil goed voorbereid zijn en snel kunnen schakelen. Omdat een collega vertrekt, zoekt de gemeente een ervaren specialist die het team tijdelijk komt versterken. Je adviseert over vraagstukken op het gebied van openbare orde en veiligheid. Daarnaast werk je mee aan het Integraal Veiligheidsbeleid (IVB). Ook draag je bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de crisisorganisatie. Vanuit de oranje kolom, de gemeentelijke processen bij rampen en crises, werk je aan de voorbereiding, oefeningen en evaluaties. Je komt terecht in een professioneel team met korte lijnen en veel collegialiteit. Er is ruimte voor eigen initiatief. Je werkt nauw samen met je veiligheidscollega's, andere afdelingen en externe veiligheidspartners. We zoeken iemand met bestuurlijke sensitiviteit die partners met elkaar verbindt. Wat ga je doen? - Je adviseert het gemeentebestuur, management en collega's over openbare orde en veiligheid. - Je adviseert over veiligheidsvraagstukken bij evenementen, maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen en andere bestuurlijke dossiers. - Je denkt mee over het ontwikkelen, uitvoeren en monitoren van het IVB. - Je bereidt crisisbeheersingsactiviteiten binnen de oranje kolom voor, voert ze uit en evalueert ze. - Je organiseert en begeleidt oefeningen en trainingen voor de gemeentelijke crisisorganisatie. - Je signaleert en analyseert veiligheidsvraagstukken en vertaalt deze naar concrete adviezen, ma...
