Onder de merknaam Van Veelen Industriële Verpakkingen zijn wij gespecialiseerd in het industrieel verpakken van bijzondere goederen voor transport en langdurige opslag. Ons werk is maatwerk - geen lading is hetzelfde. Wat ga je doen? Als Verpakker Luchtvracht BBL leer je het zorgvuldig verpakken van goederen in houten exportverpakkingen. Jouw werk zorgt ervoor dat ladingen veilig en wereldwijd vervoerd kunnen worden. De werkzaamheden van een industrieel verpakker zijn gericht op het veilig en efficiënt verpakken van industriële goederen voor transport of opslag. Dit is vaak maatwerk en kan variëren per type lading. De belangrijkste taken zijn: 1. Fabriceren van verpakkingen · Maken van op maat gemaakte houten kisten, kratten of pallets. · Gebruik van houtbewerkingsgereedschap zoals zaagmachines, schroefmachines en spijkerpistolen. 2. Verpakken van goederen · Plaatsen van goederen in de kisten en zorgen voor bescherming tegen schade (bijvoorbeeld door gebruik van folie, schuim, droogmiddelen). · Toepassen van preserveringstechnieken zoals vacuümverpakken of het toevoegen van vochtabsorberende materialen. 3. Laden en zekeren · Laden van verpakte goederen in containers of vrachtwagens. · Zorgen voor correcte zekering zodat ladingen niet verschuiven tijdens transport. 4. Werken op locatie van de klant · Uitvoeren van verpakkingswerkzaamheden bij klanten · Soms werken in de eigen loods voor voorbereiding of rustige periodes. · Af en toe een avond of weekend werken vind jij geen probleem, zeker niet met de aantrekkelijke toeslag die daarbij hoort.
