Voor een bedrijf in Roosendaal zoeken wij een Straalmedewerker . Ervaring met stralen is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen vereiste. Als jij technisch bent aangelegd en het vak graag wilt leren, komen we ook graag met je in contact! Waar ga je werken? Je gaat werken bij een gevestigde staalgroothandel in Roosendaal met een compact team van enkele tientallen medewerkers. Het bedrijf levert uiteenlopende staalproducten aan klanten in onder meer de bouw, techniek en industrie. Naast opslag en distributie worden materialen op locatie bewerkt voordat ze naar de klant gaan. De organisatie beschikt over meerdere hallen en verzorgt een deel van het transport met eigen vrachtwagens. De cultuur is praktisch: collega's werken nauw samen en weten wat ze aan elkaar hebben. Wat ga je doen? Als Straalmedewerker werk je met een straalmachine waarmee staal wordt gereinigd en voorbereid voor verdere bewerking. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de machine goed staat ingesteld en houdt het proces in de gaten. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Instellen en bedienen van de straalmachine; - Controleren of het straalproces goed verloopt; - Controleren van het eindresultaat; - Signaleren van afwijkingen en kleine storingen; - Schoonmaken en onderhouden van de machine; - Schoon en veilig houden van je werkplek. Het is een praktische functie waarin je zelfstandig met een machine werkt. Daarom is technisch inzicht belangrijk. Je hoeft niet alles vanaf dag één te kunnen. Als jij begrijpt hoe machines werken en graag nieuwe dingen leert, kun je het vak in de praktijk leren.
