Momenteel zijn we op zoek naar een Strategic Category Lead die houdt van variatie, uitdaging en samenwerken in een open en informele werksfeer. Wat ga je doen? - Als Strategic Category Lead ben je verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop van kunststofcomponenten en interieur- en exterieuronderdelen voor onze VDL Coach-locaties. Je zorgt voor de juiste balans tussen prijs, kwaliteit, leverbetrouwbaarheid en duurzaamheid. Je werkt hiervoor nauw samen met Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain en onze productielocaties en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Procurement Manager. - Aankopen van kunststof-, interieur- en exterieuronderdelen. - Selecteren en beoordelen van leveranciers. - Onderhandelen over prijzen, contracten, levervoorwaarden en commerciële afspraken. - Uitvoeren van marktanalyses en identificeren van nieuwe leveranciers. - Realiseren van kostenbesparingen en commerciële optimalisaties. - Bewaken van leveranciersprestaties op het gebied van prijs, kwaliteit en leverbetrouwbaarheid. - Opbouwen van sterke, duurzame relaties met strategische leveranciers.
