Je vertaalt complexe financiële en beleidsmatige vraagstukken naar strategische adviezen voor het management en de directie. - Jouw werk heeft directe impact op de financiële gezondheid en maatschappelijke waarde van grote gemeentelijke programma's en projecten. - Je komt te werken in een team met 13 collega's. De sfeer in het team is professioneel en collegiaal. Je werkt met ervaren strategisch financieel adviseurs die inhoudelijk sterk zijn en elkaar graag opzoeken om te sparren. Er is ruimte voor verschillende inzichten en ideeën, maar ook voor een gezonde kritische blik. De functie Als Strategisch Financieel Adviseur ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en implementeren van financiële strategieën die de gemeente Amsterdam toekomstbestendig, duurzaam en financieel gezond houden. Je werkt op het snijvlak van financiën, beleid en uitvoering, en adviseert over lange termijnscenario's, investeringsstrategieën en risicomanagement binnen grote gemeentelijke programma's en op horizontale thema's. Je ontwikkelt en bewaakt financiële kaders voor grote gemeentelijke programma's, zoals de Woonagenda, Energietransitie, Circulaire Economie en Digitalisering. Dit omvat het opstellen van meerjarenbegrotingen, financiële scenario's en investeringsplannen die aansluiten bij de gemeentelijke doelstellingen. Je vertaalt complexe financiële en beleidsmatige informatie naar heldere, onderbouwde adviezen voor besluitvorming op het hoogste ambtelijk en bestuurlijke niveau. Hierbij integreer je politieke, maatschappelijke en juridische context (bijv. Omgevingswet, Klimaatakkoord, Europese regelgeving). Je identificeert financiële, juridische en operationele risico's (bijv. marktontwikkelingen, rentestijg...
