We kopen wereldwijd in, werken met een groeiend leveranciersnetwerk en bedienen steeds meer klanten via een logistiek netwerk dat continu in ontwikkeling is. Logistieke stromen worden complexer door extra warehouses, hogere kosten en veranderende inboundnetwerken. Tegelijkertijd wordt het sturen op leveranciersperformance steeds belangrijker om producten op tijd en volledig beschikbaar te houden. Bovendien groeit het belang van plannability omdat ketens langer worden, afhankelijkheden toenemen en volumes oplopen. De uitdaging zit deels in het managen van deze complexiteit.
