Ben je een System Engineer die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt én impact wil maken binnen een complexe IT-omgeving? Zoek je een rol waar je niet enkel tickets verwerkt, maar ook actief meebouwt aan de infrastructuur van een internationale organisatie? Dan kan deze uitdaging zeker de moeite waard zijn.

Voor een stabiele en groeiende onderneming met meer dan 800 medewerkers zoeken we een System Engineer die technische maturiteit combineert met een pragmatische en servicegerichte aanpak. Je komt terecht in een interne IT-afdeling die verantwoordelijk is voor de ondersteuning van tientallen locaties in België, Nederland en Frankrijk.

Functie

Als System Engineer maak je deel uit van een infrastructuurteam van een zestal collega's en werk je nauw samen met interne gebruikers, IT-collega's en externe partners.

Je bent een belangrijke schakel in het garanderen van de continuïteit van de IT-omgeving en neemt verantwoordelijkheid over zowel operationele als projectmatige taken.

Concreet sta je onder andere in voor:

· Ondersteuning van verschillende vestigingen in België en Frankrijk.

· Installatie, vervanging en beheer van servers, printers en andere infrastructuurcomponenten.

· Eerstelijns- en tweedelijnsondersteuning voor gebruikers.

· Uitrollen van software-upgrades en IT-verbeterprojecten.

· Beheer van infrastructuurcomponenten, security-oplossingen en firewalls.

· Monitoring van systemen en netwerken.

· Ondersteunen van virtualisatieomgevingen.

· Meedenken over optimalisaties en toekomstige verbeteringen binnen de IT-architectuur.

· Technische begeleiding en ondersteuning van minder ervaren collega's wanneer nodig.

Je combineert dus operationele taken met projectwerk en krijgt de kans om zichtbaar bij te dragen aan de verdere professionalisering van de IT-omgeving.

Profiel

Voor deze functie zoeken we een kandidaat met minimum 3 jaar ervaring als System Engineer in een complexe omgeving:

· Je werkt graag zelfstandig en neemt verantwoordelijkheid op.

· Je bent servicegericht en denkt mee met interne klanten.

· Je communiceert vlot met zowel technische als niet-technische stakeholders.

· Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en kan je behelpen in het Frans

· Je houdt van afwisseling tussen beheer en projecten.

Je hebt een brede kennis van:

· Windows Server-omgevingen.

· Active Directory.

· Microsoft Azure.

· Infrastructuurbeheer.

· Security en firewalling.

· Monitoring van systemen en netwerken.

· Serverbeheer.

· Netwerken en IT-operations.
