Ben jij een System Engineer die graag verder bouwt aan stabiele IT-omgevingen én aan je eigen toekomst? In deze rol krijg je technische autonomie, impact bij klanten en ruimte om te groeien via opleidingen en certificeringen. Je versterkt het team in een structurele functie met langdurige samenwerking, waar stabiliteit centraal staat en een vast contract bespreekbaar is.

Zo ziet je werkdag eruit Als System Engineer werk je zowel on-site bij klanten als remote aan betrouwbare en toekomstgerichte IT-omgevingen. Je analyseert bestaande systemen, denkt mee over verbeteringen en vertaalt technische noden naar concrete oplossingen.

  • Je start bijvoorbeeld met het evalueren van een IT-infrastructuur bij een klant. Waar kan het efficiënter? Welke optimalisaties zijn mogelijk binnen cloud, security of netwerkbeheer? Samen met de technische verantwoordelijke stel je verbeteringen voor die het systeem stabieler en performanter maken.
  • Daarna ga je praktisch aan de slag: je installeert en configureert nieuwe systemen, integreert oplossingen in bestaande infrastructuren en zorgt ervoor dat alles veilig en efficiënt blijft draaien.
  • Je werkt daarbij nauw samen met collega’s, eindgebruikers en leveranciers. Problemen detecteer je vaak al voordat ze impact hebben. Als IT specialist / system engineer denk je proactief mee en zorg je voor duurzame oplossingen.

Geen dag is identiek: de ene dag werk je aan serverbeheer of cloudoplossingen, de andere dag optimaliseer je een infrastructuur of ondersteun je een klant bij een technische uitdaging.

Belangrijk: dit is een structurele functie binnen een stabiele organisatie, met duidelijke intentie tot een langdurige samenwerking en een vast contract.

Je hoeft niet alles al te kennen, maar je beschikt wel over een stevige basis en het vertrouwen om zelfstandig technische uitdagingen aan te pakken.

  • Studieachtergrond: je behaalde een diploma in IT, systeem- en netwerkbeheer, informatica of een gelijkaardige richting. Relevante ervaring kan dit ook compenseren.
  • Ervaring: je hebt al enkele jaren gewerkt als System Engineer, IT Support Engineer, System Administrator of in een gelijkaardige rol. Daardoor ben je snel inzetbaar.
  • Technische kennis: je hebt een goede basis in Windows Server, netwerken, virtualisatie en cloudomgevingen. Ervaring met Microsoft 365, Azure, security of infrastructuurbeheer is een sterke troef.
  • Maturiteit: je communiceert professioneel met klanten en collega’s en kan technische oplossingen helder uitleggen.
  • Zelfstandigheid: je kan prioriteiten stellen, problemen analyseren en oplossingen uitwerken zonder dat iemand elke stap moet sturen.
  • Leergierigheid: technologie evolueert snel en jij vindt het net interessant om je kennis te blijven verdiepen via opleidingen en certificeringen.
