Dan wil je dit lezen. Bedrijfsprofiel Onze klant is een snelgroeiende scale-up in smart home hardware. Ze maken slimme apparaten met een eigen app, waarmee mensen thuis hun verbruik in realtime volgen en verlagen. Het bedrijf ontwikkelt hardware en software zelf, met aparte teams voor hardware, embedded, backend, app en cloud die aan hetzelfde product werken. Ze komen net uit de scale-up fase, dus processen en beleid zijn nog in beweging. De organisatie is plat en de lijnen met de directie zijn kort. Functie omschrijving Als Teamlead Hardware & Embedded geef je leiding aan een team van ruim tien engineers. Ongeveer 80% van je tijd ben je met mensen bezig en 20% met techniek. Je voert functionerings- en ontwikkelgesprekken en coacht engineers, ook de nieuwe collega's. Je bewaakt prioriteiten en planning en zegt op tijd wat realistisch is. Je schakelt met de andere teams, zodat iedereen aan hetzelfde product werkt en niet langs elkaar heen. Als het nodig is, spring je zelf bij in de techniek. Het team is grotendeels zelfsturend en heeft de laatste tijd veel verandering en werkdruk gehad. Jij brengt rust, richting en aandacht voor de mensen. Je werkt nauw samen met de operations manager en de COO. Functie eisen - Ruime ervaring met hardware en embedded (richting 5+ jaar), uit eigen werk als engineer - Ervaring met leidinggeven aan mensen (richting 3 jaar), niet alleen aan projecten - Je durft moeilijke gesprekken aan te gaan en zegt waar het op staat - Je snapt de techniek goed genoeg om mee te praten met engineers en andere teams - Sterk in Nederlands, mondeling en schriftelijk (Nederlands is de voertaal) - Pré: ervaring in een groeiend bedrijf en met samenwerken met product owners en developers - Fullt...
