Bij een machinebouwer voor de pluimveeverwerkende industrie in Oostzaan ben je technisch eindverantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp, beheer en de optimalisatie van PLC-, DCS- en SCADA-systemen. Je geeft leiding aan zeven engineers en bewaakt de samenhang tussen besturingssoftware, electrical design en slimme sensortechniek. Daarbij vertaal je productiebehoeften naar een technische roadmap voor betrouwbare procesautomatisering en datagedreven machinebesturing, met aandacht voor security en performance. In de dagelijkse praktijk combineer je technische besluitvorming met hands-on ontwikkeling en coaching. Je stemt standaarden af met R&D, productie en field support en bespreekt technische keuzes met het management. Onderwerpen als IO-Link, vision, IIoT, digital twins en predictive maintenance krijgen daarbij een concrete plek in projecten. Je helpt engineers hun competenties te verdiepen, stimuleert kennisdeling en ontwikkelt zelf je expertise in smart manufacturing en remote operations. Functie-inhoud - Ontwikkelen en bewaken van de technische roadmap voor PLC-, DCS- en SCADA-systemen - Aansturen en coachen van zeven engineers binnen een multidisciplinair team - Standaardiseren van besturingsfuncties over R&D, productie en field support - Bewaken van electrical design en integratie van IO-Link-sensoren en vision-systemen - Hands-on bijdragen aan digital twins, predictive maintenance en remote operations - Vertalen van technische vraagstukken naar concrete plannen voor management en projectteams - Verbeteren van engineeringprocessen, kennisdeling en samenwerking tussen disciplines Functie-eisen - Afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding Elektrotechniek, Industriële Automatisering, Mechatronica of vergelijkbaar - Minimaal acht jaar ervaring met procesautomatisering in industrie, foodprocessing of (petro)chemie - Ruime ervaring met PLC, SCADA en HMI en kennis van IEC 61131, OPC UA, MQTT, EtherCAT en XML - Visie op toekomstbestendige productie en software-engineering, inclusief secur.
