The posting

Voor onze afdeling afvalverwerking zoeken we een teamleider die techniek en mensen weet te verbinden. Iemand die graag tussen de collega’s op de werkvloer staat, het overzicht bewaart en samen met zijn of haar team zorgt voor een veilige en efficiënte werking van onze installaties.

Jouw uitdaging

Als teamleider afvalverwerking ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse organisatie van een belangrijk deel van onze afvalverwerking. Je stuurt een operationeel team aan, zorgt dat de installaties optimaal functioneren en bewaakt de veiligheid, kwaliteit en continuïteit van de werking.

Je bent zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer, ondersteunt je medewerkers waar nodig en neemt initiatief wanneer zich problemen of onverwachte situaties voordoen. Tegelijk zorg je voor een goede planning, duidelijke afspraken en een vlotte samenwerking met collega’s, leveranciers en externe partners.

Je combineert leidinggeven met technisch inzicht en krijgt energie van een omgeving waar elke dag anders is.

Je bent een leidinggevende die mensen weet mee te krijgen. Je combineert een praktische ingesteldheid met technisch inzicht en houdt ervan om zichtbaar aanwezig te zijn op de werkvloer.

Daarnaast:

  • Heb je ervaring met het coachen en aansturen van medewerkers
  • Beschik je over een sterk organisatorisch vermogen
  • Behoud je ook in drukke situaties het overzicht
  • Communiceer je duidelijk en weet je een team te motiveren
  • Neem je verantwoordelijkheid en durf je beslissingen nemen
  • Werk je planmatig en oplossingsgericht
  • Voel je je thuis in een technische of industriële omgeving
  • Heb je affiniteit met onderhoud, installaties en technische processen
  • Kan je vlot werken met courante digitale toepassingen
  • Draag je veiligheid hoog in het vaandel

Wat verwachten we?

  • Je beschikt minstens over een diploma secundair onderwijs in een technische richting of hebt gelijkwaardige relevante ervaring
  • Ervaring in een leidinggevende functie is een belangrijke meerwaarde
  • Je beschikt over een BA5 opleiding of bent bereid deze te volgen en het attest te behalen
  • Je bent bereid een EHBO opleiding te volgen en een rol op te nemen binnen het interne brandteam
  • Je bent bereid deel te nemen aan de wachtdienst die moet opgezet worden, hierbij hoort een gepaste vergoeding
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B
