Als Teamleider Toezicht en Handhaving Industrie draag je samen met jouw team bij aan de veiligheid van industriële bedrijven in deze complexe omgeving. Een leidinggevende functie waarin maatschappelijke impact, specialistische vraagstukken en samenwerking samenkomen. Jouw werk Je geeft leiding aan een team van circa 14 hoogopgeleide inspecteurs en toezichthouders. Zij houden toezicht op industriële bedrijven en milieubelastende activiteiten, waaronder Seveso-inrichtingen en bedrijfsbrandweren. Dat doen zij door controles, audits en onderzoek naar meldingen en incidenten. Zo draagt het team bij aan het voorkomen en beheersen van incidenten en crises. Als teamleider geef je richting, stel je prioriteiten en creëer je de voorwaarden waarin professionals hun werk goed kunnen doen. Je bent integraal verantwoordelijk voor personeel, budget, kwaliteit, productie, rapportage en de ontwikkeling van het werkgebied. Daarbij word je ondersteund door onder andere juristen, beleidsmedewerkers, specialisten en opgaveregisseurs. Vanuit jouw team wordt ook de samenwerking tussen vijf veiligheidsregio's georganiseerd voor inspecties bij de meest risicovolle bedrijven in Zuid-Holland en Zeeland. Je vertegenwoordigt de VRR in regionale en landelijke overleggen en draagt bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het vakgebied. Je werkt intensief samen met de Teamleider Toezicht Bouw. Samen met de Teamleider Advies en Vergunningverlening, het afdelingshoofd en de coördinator beleid vorm je het management van Industriële Veiligheid.
