PlastIQ is het sectoraal competentie -en kenniscentrum voor kunststofverwerking in Vlaanderen. Vanuit onze opleidingscentra brengen we bedrijven, werknemers, werkzoekenden en onderwijs samen rond opleiding, technologie en innovatie.

Jobomschrijving

Voor onze werking in Limburg zoeken we een ervaren technisch expert in spuitgieten die zijn of haar praktijkkennis wil inzetten in een bredere rol.

Wat ga je doen?

Je vertrekt vanuit jouw ervaring in de wereld van het spuitgieten. Die kennis zet je in om de competenties van anderen te versterken en bedrijven te ondersteunen.

Je geeft opleidingen, ondersteunt bedrijven en werkt mee aan innovatieve projecten rond kunststoftechnologie, digitalisering en AI.

Je:

  • geeft praktijkgerichte opleidingen spuitgieten en kunststoftechnologie aan werknemers, werkzoekenden en andere doelgroepen;
  • begeleidt bedrijven bij technische vragen en uitdagingen rond hun spuitgietproces;
  • deelt jouw expertise rond machines, processen, grondstoffen en materiaaleigenschappen;
  • werkt als technisch expert mee binnen onze innovatie- en EFRO-projecten;
  • verdiept je verder in nieuwe technologieën, digitalisering, data en toepassingen van artificiële intelligentie binnen kunststofverwerking;
  • vertaalt nieuwe kennis naar concrete toepassingen, opleidingen en ondersteuning voor bedrijven;
  • werkt samen met collega's, bedrijven, opleidingspartners en externe experts.

Je standplaats is de innovatieve T2-campus in Genk, waar je deel uitmaakt van een klein PlastIQ-team en samenwerkt met verschillende opleidings- en technologiepartners. De functie vraagt daarnaast ook regelmatige verplaatsingen naar bedrijven en partners in Vlaanderen.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken in de eerste plaats iemand met een stevige technische bagage.

Je hebt meerdere jaren praktijkervaring binnen een spuitgietbedrijf of spuitgietomgeving en beschikt over een grondige kennis van het spuitgietproces. Je bent dus meer dan iemand die een machine kan bedienen: je begrijpt het proces, kunt problemen analyseren en oplossingen toelichten.

Daarnaast:

  • heb je een brede interesse in kunststoftechnologie, grondstoffen en materialen;
  • deel je graag jouw kennis en ervaring met anderen;
  • kun je technische materie op een begrijpelijke en praktische manier uitleggen;
  • sta je open voor innovatie, digitalisering en AI en ben je bereid je hierin verder te verdiepen;
  • werk je graag zelfstandig, maar ook samen met collega's en externe partners;
  • vind je het interessant om zowel met bedrijven als met werknemers, werkzoekenden en leerlingen te werken.

Ervaring als lesgever is geen vereiste. Belangrijker is dat je graag mensen begeleidt en enthousiast maakt. Misschien deed je dat al als mentor op de werkvloer, trainer, coach, in een jeugdbeweging of in een andere context. Voor ons telt vooral dat je kennis kunt overbrengen en mensen kunt meenemen in jouw verhaal.
