The posting

  • Leiden van een engineeringteam van vier engineers: richting geven, overleg structureren en samenwerken met productie en de technische diensten van klanten.
  • Zelf blijven ontwerpen (ongeveer 30 tot 50% van je tijd) en maatwerkmachines en transportsystemen uitwerken op basis van inzichten uit onderhoud en industriële installaties.
  • Procesoptimalisatie binnen engineering: kennisdeling organiseren, standaardiseren waar het helpt, engineeringstandaarden definiëren en tools en werkwijzen verbeteren.
  • Verbeteren van de overdracht naar productie zodat machines eenvoudiger, betrouwbaarder en sneller te ontwerpen en bouwen zijn.
  • Budgetverantwoordelijkheid en beslissingsbevoegdheid over engineering, in directe rapportering aan de CEO.
  • Technisch diploma bachelor of master mechanica, of gelijkwaardig door aantoonbare ervaring in mechanisch ontwerp en machinebouw.
  • Meerdere jaren ervaring met 3D-ontwerp van maatwerkmachines, bij voorkeur met CAD-software zoals SolidWorks of vergelijkbare pakketten.
  • Ervaring met projectmanagement (minstens één jaar) en het gestructureerd leiden van technische projecten van ontwerp tot productie.
  • Ambitie en aanleg om een team inhoudelijk te coachen, mensen sterker te maken en goede oplossingen actief te delen.
  • Sterke technische passie en de reflex om complexe vraagstukken terug te brengen tot eenvoudige, robuuste oplossingen; ervaring als informele aanspreekpersoon bij moeilijke technische problemen is een plus.
