The posting

Bij een ontwikkelaar van sensormodules, 3D-bewegingsregistratiesystemen en trackers in Enschede werk je aan de betrouwbaarheid van software en firmware. Als Test Automation Engineer maak je deel uit van het Quality Assurance-team binnen Product Engineering. Je neemt het voortouw in testautomatisering: je ontwikkelt geautomatiseerde tests, vergroot de testdekking van bestaande tooling en bepaalt welke automatiseringsstrategie bij verschillende testcases past. Daarbij beweeg je tussen software en fysieke hardware. In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je aan hardware-in-the-loop-tests, GUI-tests en tests voor mobiele apps. Je onderzoekt bevindingen samen met ontwikkelaars, controleert bugfixes en voert regressietests uit. Ook het verzamelen van praktijkdata hoort bij je werk. Je combineert zelfstandig programmeren met afstemming binnen het QA-team en verdiept je verder in testarchitectuur, reproduceerbare testopstellingen en het testen van sensorgebaseerde producten. Functie-inhoud - Geautomatiseerde tests ontwikkelen voor software en firmware van sensormodules en bewegingsregistratiesystemen - De testdekking van bestaande tooling uitbreiden en onderhouden - Per testcase een passende testautomatiseringsstrategie bepalen - Hardware-in-the-loop-tests, GUI-tests en mobiele-app-tests ontwikkelen en uitvoeren - Nieuwe functionaliteit en bugfixes valideren en regressietests uitvoeren - Praktijkdata verzamelen en testbevindingen afstemmen met het ontwikkelteam Functie-eisen - Een afgeronde bachelor- of masteropleiding in informatica of een verwante richting - 0 tot 3 jaar werkervaring en een basis in softwareontwikkeling en testen - Programmeervaardigheid in C en/of C++; kennis van Python en C# is een pré - Een nauwkeurige, resultaatgerichte werkwijze bij het ontwikkelen en beoordelen van tests - Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een uitstekende beheersing van het Engels - Je werkt zelfstandig en zoekt actief de samenwerking met het team Aanbod - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.
