The posting

Bij een ontwikkelaar van 3D-printers in Geldermalsen werk je aan de kwaliteit van printersoftware binnen een multidisciplinair R&D-team. Als Test & Automation Engineer combineer je het testen van real-time embedded software met het uitbreiden van geautomatiseerde tests. Je coördineert het kwaliteitsproces, stelt testscenario’s op en onderzoekt afwijkingen voordat je de resultaten terugkoppelt aan software engineers. Daarmee draag je direct bij aan betrouwbare softwarereleases voor producten waarin software, elektronica en mechanica samenkomen. In de dagelijkse praktijk test je onder meer onder Linux en werk je met Python en gebruikersinterfaces. Je werkt nauw samen met software engineers, UX-designers, elektronica-engineers, printproces-engineers en de projectleider. Tijdens de dagelijkse stand-up bespreek je voortgang en bevindingen. Klantfeedback en ontwikkelingen in softwaretesting gebruik je om testmethoden te verbeteren en je kennis van quality engineering verder uit te bouwen. Zowel starters als ervaren engineers kunnen hier aan de slag. Functie-inhoud - Coördineren van het kwaliteitsproces voor één of meer kernproducten binnen printersoftware - Opstellen en uitvoeren van testscenario’s voor embedded software en gebruikersinterfaces - Uitbreiden en onderhouden van geautomatiseerde tests met Python - Analyseren van testafwijkingen en rapporteren van resultaten aan de betrokken engineers - Vertalen van klantfeedback naar verbeteringen in softwarekwaliteit en testdekking - Bijdragen aan dagelijkse stand-ups en het verbeteren van testprocessen en werkmethoden Functie-eisen - Technische wo-master in informatica, natuurkunde, data science, mechatronica of een gelijkwaardige richting - Ervaring met het testen van real-time embedded software, Linux, gebruikersinterfaces en Python 3.6 of hoger - Affiniteit met elektronica, mechanica en 3D-printing - Proactieve samenwerking en een zorgvuldige aanpak, ook bij werkdruk of onverwachte situaties - Uitstekende communicati.
