The posting

Bij een robotproducent in Maassluis ontwikkel je geautomatiseerde testen voor robots die dagelijkse processen in de zuivelindustrie automatiseren. Als Test Automation Engineer werk je binnen Product Development aan de betrouwbaarheid van embedded software en bijbehorende toepassingen. Je maakt testen een integraal onderdeel van de CI/CD-pipeline en toetst robotfunctionaliteiten met risicogebaseerde testen, integratietesten en detailtesten. Daarmee help je nieuwe functionaliteiten zorgvuldig te beoordelen voordat ze in de praktijk worden ingezet. In je dagelijkse werk vertaal je testcases en systeemkennis naar scenario’s in Cucumber/Gherkin en automatiseer je deze met passende tooling. Je onderhoudt de testinfrastructuur, analyseert resultaten en bespreekt bevindingen met ontwikkelaars en andere engineers in je scrumteam. Je werkt samen met internationale collega’s en geeft onderbouwd advies over softwarekwaliteit. Daarbij krijg je ruimte om testaanpakken te verbeteren en je verder te ontwikkelen via technische trainingen en eigen verbetervoorstellen. Functie-inhoud - Robotfunctionaliteiten toetsen met risicogebaseerde testen, integratietesten en detailtesten - Testscenario’s schrijven in Cucumber/Gherkin en omzetten naar geautomatiseerde testen - De testautomatiseringspipeline en bijbehorende infrastructuur bouwen en onderhouden - Testresultaten analyseren en feedback verzamelen bij betrokken engineers - Bevindingen terugkoppelen aan je scrumteam met onderbouwd advies over softwarekwaliteit - Nieuwe robotfunctionaliteiten en softwaretoepassingen beoordelen vanuit testbaarheid en kwaliteit Functie-eisen - Hbo- of wo-denkniveau en minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als embedded softwareontwikkelaar of testautomation engineer - Ervaring met testontwikkeling en -uitvoering, van realisatie tot keten- en acceptatietesten - Ervaring met Scrum/Agile, behaviour-driven testen en tooling zoals Behave en Gherkin - Programmeervaardigheid in Python of C++, bij voorkeur Python - Praktijk.
