Ontdekken waar die vandaan komt en bedenken hoe je voorkomt dat je hem de volgende keer handmatig moet opsporen, is nog mooier. Als Test Engineer werk je in een scrumteam van vijf collega's aan software die volop in ontwikkeling is. Je verdeelt je aandacht ongeveer 50/50 tussen handmatig testen en testautomatisering en helpt het team om testen steeds slimmer aan te pakken. Wat je gaat doen Je stapt in een applicatielandschap dat de komende jaren flink verandert. Bestaande applicaties blijven voorlopig belangrijk, terwijl tegelijkertijd nieuwe software wordt ontwikkeld in OutSystems. Jij bewaakt de kwaliteit aan beide kanten. Daarbij voer je niet alleen tests uit: je bouwt ook verder aan een testbasis waarmee het team steeds meer kan automatiseren. Je gaat onder andere: - handmatige en functionele tests uitvoeren op bestaande en nieuwe software; - geautomatiseerde tests opzetten, uitvoeren en verbeteren; - testscenario's bedenken en uitwerken; - automatiseren met onder andere Playwright en Python; - bepalen welke tests geschikt zijn om te automatiseren; - bugs analyseren en uitzoeken waar het daadwerkelijk misgaat; - de kwaliteit gedurende het ontwikkelproces bewaken; - collega's meenemen in testautomatisering en kennis hierover delen. Wie jij bent Een foutmelding is voor jou geen eindpunt, maar een aanwijzing. Je vindt het leuk om systemen te doorgronden, verbanden te leggen en net zo lang te puzzelen tot je begrijpt waarom iets anders werkt dan verwacht. Tegelijkertijd heb je voldoende technische bagage om die kennis om te zetten in goede geautomatiseerde tests. Daarvoor breng je mee: - minimaal 5 jaar ervaring met softwaretesten, waaronder testautomatisering; - ervaring met Playwright, Selenium en/of Cucumber; - ervaring met TDD en/of BDD; - ervaring met een programmeertaal zoals Python; - ervarin...
