The posting

Bij een technisch projectbureau in de regio Geleen ontwikkel je je tot Automation Engineer voor projecten in de procesindustrie, machinebouw en productie-industrie. Onder begeleiding van ervaren engineers leer je hoe je productieprocessen automatiseert en bestaande besturingen verbetert. Je programmeert PLC- en HMI-software, analyseert technische problemen en werkt mee aan nieuwe automatiseringsoplossingen. Daarbij leer je niet alleen de software kennen, maar ook de samenhang met hardware en industriële communicatie. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeerwerk af met het onderzoeken van storingen bij klanten en het ondersteunen van kleinere projecten. Je overlegt met collega's uit verschillende technische disciplines en leert oplossingen gestructureerd uitwerken en toetsen. Bij kleinere projecten pak je ook onderdelen van de hardware-engineering op. Samen met je begeleiders stel je een ontwikkelplan op dat aansluit bij je interesses, zodat je gericht verder groeit in besturingstechniek en industriële automatisering. Functie-inhoud - Technische problemen analyseren en samen met ervaren engineers passende oplossingen uitwerken - PLC- en HMI-software programmeren voor het automatiseren en optimaliseren van productieprocessen - Meewerken aan de implementatie van nieuwe automatiseringsoplossingen - Bestaande besturingssystemen aanpassen en upgraden - Storingen bij klanten onderzoeken en verhelpen - Onderdelen van de hardware-engineering uitvoeren binnen kleinere projecten Functie-eisen - Een bachelor of master in elektrotechniek, elektromechanica, energietechnologie of een vergelijkbare richting - Ervaring met één of meerdere PLC-systemen, bijvoorbeeld Siemens - Kennis van Modbus, Profibus of Profinet is een pre - Analytisch vermogen en een gestructureerde aanpak bij technische problemen - Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels en bereidheid om bij te leren - Flexibiliteit om incidenteel buiten reguliere werktijden te werken Aanbod - Bru.
