Voor een internationale speler in regio Roeselare zoeken we een Transportplanner met minstens 5 jaar ervaring. Iemand die het transport echt kent en niet alleen opdrachten doorspeelt aan externe vervoerders. Je maakt zelf de planning, stuurt bij waar nodig en neemt operationeel de verantwoordelijkheid.

Als transportplanner neem je de internationale transportplanning volledig voor jouw rekening. Je bewaakt de dagelijkse planning van een 30-tal trailers en zorgt ervoor dat capaciteit, routes, chauffeurs en klanten goed op elkaar afgestemd zijn.

  • Zelfstandig opmaken en opvolgen van internationale transportplanningen doorheen Europa.
  • Capaciteit en beschikbare trailers efficiënt inzetten.
  • Routes uitstippelen en waar nodig optimaliseren.
  • Meerdere voertuigen tegelijk opvolgen en prioriteiten bijsturen.
  • Rechtstreeks schakelen met eindklanten, chauffeurs, transportpartners, sales en operations.
  • Snel reageren wanneer een chauffeur uitvalt, een trailer niet beschikbaar is of een klant de planning wijzigt.
  • Oplossingen vinden bij vertragingen, ontbrekende documenten en andere operationele uitdagingen.
  • Rekening houden met de bijkomende regelgeving en administratie rond internationaal afvaltransport.
  • Zelf beslissingen nemen en verantwoordelijkheid opnemen voor de volledige planning.

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar de transportplanning een belangrijke schakel vormt binnen de dagelijkse werking. Er is ruimte om verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen, mee te denken over verbeteringen en processen verder te optimaliseren.

De internationale context zorgt voor de nodige variatie en dynamiek. Geen dag verloopt exact volgens plan, waardoor jouw ervaring en vermogen om snel te schakelen elke dag van belang zijn. Naast een ervaren transportplanner te zijn die zijn of haar vak kent, beschik jij over:

  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen transportplanning.
  • Ervaring met internationaal wegtransport en complexe planningen met meerdere voertuigen.
  • Ervaring met het zelf opmaken van transportplanningen, niet enkel met het coördineren van uitbesteed transport.
  • Een goed inzicht in routes, capaciteit en operationele haalbaarheid.
  • Vlot in Nederlands, Engels en Frans. Duits is een plus.
  • Stressbestendig en in staat om snel te schakelen wanneer omstandigheden veranderen.
  • Hands-on, proactief en oplossingsgericht.
  • Communicatief sterk en nauwkeurig in je opvolging.
  • Zelfstandig genoeg om knopen door te hakken, maar tegelijk sterk in samenwerking.
  • Je staat stevig in je schoenen en wacht niet af wanneer er zich een probleem voordoet.
