Onze klant is een grote, internationale speler in de logistieke sector, gevestigd in de regio Antwerpen. Ze verzorgen wereldwijde logistieke oplossingen, van opslag tot het transport van goederen. Ondanks hun grootte heerst er een warme, familiale sfeer. Je komt terecht in een apart team van zes collega's binnen de afdeling road operations.

In deze rol als Transportplanner Containerlogsitek ben je de drijvende kracht achter de ritten van vrachtwagens die containers vervoeren. Jij plant en volgt alles van A tot Z op. Omdat je enkel met onderaannemers werkt, hoef je geen rekening te houden met rij- en rusttijden. Hierdoor kan jij je volledig focussen op het maken van de slimste en meest efficiënte keuzes voor de klant.

Functieomschrijving

  • Inplannen en opvolgen van containertransporten per vrachtwagen binnen de Benelux.
  • Maken van slimme routes en keuzes, zodat klanten tevreden zijn en de kosten niet oplopen.
  • Ingeven van de juiste prijzen voor het vervoer in het computersysteem.
  • Het snel en van A tot Z oplossen van problemen die onderweg opduiken.
  • Inspringen voor je vijf teamgenoten wanneer zij afwezig zijn.

Profiel

  • Je hebt al ervaring in de logistieke sector of expeditie, bijvoorbeeld als planner of binnen customer service.
  • Kennis van containerlogistiek, import/export en intermodaal transport is echt nodig voor deze rol.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands en Engels, een woordje Duits is mooi meegenomen.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als een gedreven teamspeler met een no-nonsense mentaliteit.
