The posting

Als transportplanner zorg je ervoor dat goederen op tijd en op de juiste bestemming aankomen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het plannen en coördineren van vrachtzendingen en onderhoudt dagelijks contact met vervoerders, chauffeurs, leveranciers en verschepingsmaatschappijen. Daarbij bewaak je de voortgang van transporten en schakel je snel wanneer zich wijzigingen of uitdagingen voordoen.

Je werkt in een dynamische internationale omgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is. Samen met een enthousiast team draag je bij aan een optimale dienstverlening en denk je actief mee over het verbeteren en professionaliseren van de interne processen. Dankzij jouw proactieve instelling, communicatieve vaardigheden en oplossingsgerichte aanpak weet je snel te schakelen en houd je overzicht, ook wanneer de druk hoog is.

Daarnaast draai je gemiddeld één keer per 20 weken een weekenddienst. Samen met je collega's zorg je ervoor dat de transportplanning en dienstverlening ook buiten de reguliere werkdagen optimaal blijven verlopen. Deze diensten worden ruim van tevoren ingepland.

- Een afgeronde mbo-opleiding of hbo werk- en denkniveau - Ervaring als transportplanner, bij voorkeur binnen een internationale omgeving - Je beschikt over goede geografische kennis en werkt planmatig - Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed in woord en geschrift - Beschikt over eigen vervoer
